The Viewing Theatre
Our private 16 seat air-conditioned viewing theatre projects full-resolution high-definition images from all HD formats and directly from digital media files too. Included is a 1000W THX approved Dolby 7.1 audio system, hospitality area and 3.8m (9' 2") screen.
Designed for multi-media use, the venue is ideal for media groups and professional broadcasters as a preview suite. The theatre can also accomodate small business meetings, with or without screening facilities, and can be booked by the hour, half-day or full-day. For personal use the theatre can be used for private screenings to family and friends.
Hospitality and refreshments can be provided, at additional cost, in an adjoining hospitality suite.
Screening Facilities can be included with your HD Camera deal through VMI.

Technnical information
- Audio
- 6 x channel THX approved sound system with Dolby Surround Sound System - compatible with stereo, Dolby 5.1, 6.1 & 7.1 on discrete analogue tracks or DVD. Note: playback from Dolby E coded tracks available by prior arrangement only.
- HD Playback Formats
- HDCAM SR, HDCAM, HDV, HD-D5, DVCPro 100 at all frame rates including 25P, 30P, 29.97P, 50i, 59.94i & 60i (23.98P and 24P are currently played at 25fps).
- SD Playback Formats
- Digi Beta, Beta SX, IMX, DVCPro 50, DVC Pro, DVCAM, DV, Beta SP, DVD, VHS.
- Data Playback Formats
- We can import video data files directly into the video server from uncompressed HD files in the following formats:
• .AVI uncompressed 10/8 bit
• .MOV QuickTime movie uncompressed 8/10 bit
• .WMV files uncompressed 8/10 bit
Files will need to be transferred onto the video server via Giga-Ethernet.
